Description

POSE is a unique solution to providing conveniently locatable power or USB charging socket in casual seating areas. The standard POSE consists of a tough single socket polycarbonate power module fitted to a flexible chrome gooseneck mounted to a weighted base.  Special versions of POSE can also be supplied for mounting direct to furniture such as fixed seating or hospital type bed frames

POSE comprises a white or black “sparked finish” polycarbonate power module with black or grey sockets, attached to a chrome gooseneck and base. As an extra cost option the socket bezel can be painted in a range of 8 vibrant colours or the RAL colour of your choice

Construction:

High strength fire retardant  polycarbonate body Snap in OE “42mm” modular power socket /TUF polycarbonate fascia Flexible chrome plate steel gooseneck – standard length 880mm

Colours

Main body – white or black , Front bezel – white, black or painted, Socket fascia – grey or black,  (Nema 5-15R –black only) Gooseneck and base cover available in chrome plated (Standard POSE) or black (Short POSE) Cable –white (not 14AWG) or black,.

Socket Fusing:

To enable compliance to BS6396 UK sockets are fitted with 5 x 20mm anti-surge ceramic fuses, with colour-coded fuse clips to denote the rating (3.15A/5A)

Power cord options:

POSE may be hardwired to: – mains AC plug – male Wieland GST18 connector for “soft wiring” e.g. connection to an under-desk module or to a mains supply socket via a starter cable

Installation:

POSE can either be free standing via the weighted base or the gooseneck can be attached directly to furniture using bespoke fixings.

All POSE units are manufactured using ISO9001 quality controlled components and practices and are 100% tested before dispatch

CE Marking

All units built with UK and European socket types are CE marked by OE Electrics as complying with: – Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU – Low Voltage Equipment Directive 2014/35/EU – RoHS2 Directive 2011/65/EU

Certifications

AC Power socket:   The fitted socket will be certified to the appropriate national/international standard eg: BS1363/5733, IEC60884-1, UL498, CCC, AS/NZS3112. OE TUF 25W:   Independently certified to IEC/UL 62368-1. Cable, connectors & mains plug:   Independently certified to the appropriate national/international standard.

Unit Dimensions

When angled towards the user, Short POSE is approximately 442mm tall and Standard POSE is approximately 885mm tall.
